H.E. Eng. Abdulrahman bin Hamad AlMufadda serves as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Infrastructure, and is a member of several boards. He has more than 20 years of experience in the communications and digital infrastructure sector, during which he has led national projects, programs, and strategic initiatives that have contributed to the development of the sector in the Kingdom.
Prior to joining the Ministry, he held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Zain Saudi Arabia, where he led several qualitative programs in the development of 5G networks and digital infrastructure. He also held leadership roles in international companies, most notably Ericsson.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University, and has completed advanced executive programs in leadership and management from INSEAD and IMD.
